Dear Settlers,
A small Xmas update to tell you about the new additions to our website.

We have added more tech pages. We've changed the look of our editor tips page...as we are adding more and more pages every day.

There are now 11 editor pages, instead of the original 4, so hopefully this will help you with your editor questions.

We are also currently working on getting complete walkthroughs for all of the missions on the Original, the Mission and the Trojan CD's. DoD is working on a new S5N site and he has kindly agreed to let us use the walkthroughs that he had on S4N. He and Slo are feverishly replaying these missions, then re-writing the walkthroughs, and adding screenies, so they will be compatatible with the latest patch. So be sure to check back often, as they are coming along quickly. Some of them are already finished so for the moment if you need help with any of the walkthroughs, either post in one of the forums(links on the left) or email us....and we'll do our best to get it up or at least give you the link to that particular page.

The news page will now also include a translation by either Mona, or Banquoq, in German, for our German friends..

So, on behalf of all The Settlers Gang, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Happy Settling!

We would also like to welcome you to our news section of the Settlers Gang website. This section will be updated on a regular basis, so please return often.

In this edition, let us explain a little bit of what our website is about..
Along with our profiles, we have a very informative section on game play and editor tips, a section on technical issues and a page detailing our gang maps. Feel free to contact us at the Siedler Portal, Map Channel forums or Ubisoft if you have any questions or comments.

We are currently working on a further project, that will give tips and tricks dealing with each tribe individually...and eventually we will have English walkthroughs for all of our maps...

The Settlers Gang have also become official SP Contest mappers, so keep watch for our newly released maps for this contest. Please check here for the details of forthcoming maps...

Also for the last 6 months, 4 members of the Settlers Gang were very actively involved in the newly released Lost in Space project. These are mission maps that were made by a group of Settlers for Settlers and it is free... The first winner of this new series... Xhriztjan, wrote a wonderful article about his experience playing LIS which can be found here.

And lastly.... we would like to give a huge welcome to Megg and Damian who joined the gang very recently. Between them, they have a vast amount of experience at playing settlers both in SP and MP capacity. You may well know them already from the Lobby, Elly's and the UBI forums where they have helped and advised countless people with their gaming problems.

So with this, please feel free to browse our website and check back often as there will be new updates regularly..

Enjoy!
