I'm Spirit, the third german speaking member of the settlers gang. I live in the german speaking part of Switzerland close to Zurich and Lucerne. Switzerland is a beautiful but small country in the heart of Europe and very famous for its mountains (e.g. the Matterhorn or Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau), chocolate, cheese and of course for banks and money *gg*

I started playing settlers in the year 2000, after a trip to Australia where I met my boyfriend. He brought me to the game. He played Settlers II and wanted me to share his hobby. At that time I played some other games, mostly adventures like Monkey Island, Indiana Jones etc. So I gave it a try with Settlers II but shortly after I bought SIV and since I'm overwhelmed by this game. In the beginning I just played offline. But after some time I was wondering how it would be playing against other humans and not all the times against the (stupid) AI. It's also fun and one has to play with a completely different strategy but I still like to play single player maps and sometimes I post some results in the Single Player Contest.

I haven't made any maps yet, at least not for the public but who knows when the time comes...
