TECHNICAL, BUGS

AND SERIAL NUMBERS

FEs From Harbours/Mules (written by Auratus)

The trading posts/mule system is more stable than the harbours/transport ships. I think they did clean up some of the problems in later patches for "smoother play," but not enough.

FEs on market/mule/market places is fairly rare for me, but they can happen in just about any circumstance given enough clicking send, change amounts, stop, add, etc, to the queue menu.

I find mule/market places to be very “crashy” once a loaded mule is struck by an enemy soldier... it becomes unstable much as transport ships will destabilize the game when sunk.

In using market places in map design, I try to restrict routes of the mules through "safe" places only... and no more than one pair of market places (one to send, the other to receive).

Bug; Settlers Refusing To Board Ferries (written by Auratus)

This is another Settler bug I have observed.

Some times it can be "worked around" by doing a search for the settler types in question, which you can then high-lite, then click board with the ALT key onto the ferry. If they are on your land, then click them back to carriers, then back to what they where, then ask them to board:

Use the ALT key always when giving board commands. This will help greatly to avoid this bug: ALT the riders over near the ferry. Wait for them to arrive near the ferry, then ALT key them onto the ferry. All should board without difficulty.
